We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and uphold product and operational quality across Glen Ogal’s supply chain.
Based in our Edinburgh office, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every product reaching our stores and customers meets our expectations for craftsmanship, durability, compliance, and presentation.
This is a hands-on, detail-focused role with real influence across suppliers, logistics, retail, and product development.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards across all product categories
Inspect incoming stock and oversee quality checks prior to distribution
Work closely with suppliers to ensure consistent manufacturing standards
Identify quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions
Maintain clear documentation, reports, and quality benchmarks
Liaise with retail and customer service teams to resolve quality-related feedback
Support product development by advising on materials, finishes, and durability
Ensure compliance with relevant UK and international regulations
Continuously improve processes to reduce defects and returns
Proven experience in quality control, quality assurance, or production management
Strong attention to detail and methodical working style
Confident communicator able to work with suppliers and internal teams
Experience in apparel, accessories, jewellery, or consumer goods preferred
Ability to balance high standards with commercial realities
Organised, calm, and solutions-focused
Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced business
